   I'm trying to be an optimist, but still bracing for a world run by people who weren't spanked, and who won trophies for just participating.
   
   This statement by Ruth Buzzi is so true. The "self esteem" mandate that permeates the public schools has become so out of reason that kids these days do not learn that not everyone wins 1st place.
   In public schools, all the kids have to be a winner. Well, lets talk about reality. Actual reality, not reality as the misinformed believe in. Like it or not, all kids do not come out on top. Someone has to bring up the rear.
   Life is sort of like that. Someone will bring up the rear. Believe it or not, if a child is taught that everyone is a winner, then their parents should be ready for some really uncomfortable days ahead. The day that lilttle Johnny comes home from work and didn't get the promotion he wanted. There is going to be some big disappointment for these kids. And it will be their mom and dad's fault.
   Some parents will say their kids will be OK, this kind of no loser attitude will go by the wayside in years to come. I say the same about letting little Johnny have a few failures in his overly protected life. He definitely will get over his failures and be much more educated in the process.
   Man, this could go on and on. But I doubt anyone is reading this far down the page as it is, so I will stop.

I am so disappointed to hear this. My whole life has been wasted looking for these lovely creatures. I am so disheartened.
The "US denies evidence of mermaids" but it cant deny evidence of gross mismanagement of our taxes!! This is exactly the kind of waste that is driving America into total collapse. This kind of stuff goes on in both political parties, so it means nothing to blame either party. It is the idiotic government mindset that they all acquire that is the root of this tremendous misuse of taxes.
Fire them all, lets start over from scratch!!!
